Graveyard Keeper 2 Science & Blue Points
Three currencies drive the tech tree, and each one comes from a different activity. Knowing which to farm — and which nodes to spend them on first — is the difference between a fast run and a stalled one.

The Three Currencies
- Faith — from the weekly Mass; pays for church, theology and zombie-raising costs (see faith)
- Science — from studying items at the study stations; drives the science and church side of the tree
- Blue points — from studying body parts and other anatomical subjects; the currency of the Anatomy & Alchemy tree
How to Earn Each One
- Crop waste studies early — it is free Science from material you would otherwise dump
- Every new item type is worth studying once; skip duplicates unless the point yield repeats
- Body parts are your blue-point farm — most organs are not worth burying anyway, so study before you discard
- Do not burn Faith on research if the Resurrection Table is one sermon away
What to Research First
- The techs that unlock the study stations themselves — everything else compounds off these
- Cultist-type anatomy nodes if you plan to optimise corpses (the GK1 Cultist perk cost 300 blue points and reveals organ skull values)
- Second Chance / Resurrection Table — automation pays for every later hour
- Pottery and church progression to push Temple quality, which raises every future sermon
The three-currency model is GK1-verified and visible in the GK2 demo. Final node names, costs and any GK2 additions get documented here at launch on Sep 22.
