Graveyard Keeper 2 Map & Locations
The world is small enough to learn in one session — if you know which zone does what. This is the working map of GK2’s areas and the resource runs that feed your production chains.

The Quarry: Location & Unlock
The quarry sits south of the Inquisition Base — the stone, iron and marble work zone. Getting in is a quest chain, not a walk:
- Get the Forest Pass.
- Do favors for the two Forest NPCs to earn Dynamite.
- Blow the cave blockage with 1 Dynamite.
- Entering the Old Mine needs Level 8 Mastery (Iron Hammer plus perk/tool bonuses).
- Activating the fast-travel milestone costs 6 Faith.
- Gathering nodes: Stone x3, Iron Ore x3, Marble, 1 Berry
- The Zombie Stone/Marble Quarry and Porter Station blueprints are available there — the automation targets for the zombie workforce.
The Swamp: Location & Unlock
The swamp is across the bridge south of the bandit camp, and it stays blocked until you finish the “Go Wild in the Wild Lands” quest — which takes two items:
- Royal Pardon — from the Royal Mailbox by the Village Tavern (pay the 5-silver fine, then refill it with 3 Ink).
- Fairy’s Swamp Map — from Wispy after the “Chasing Fairy Lights” quest.
- Inside: 4 Blue Crystals per Envy cycle at the Nature Goddess statue (renewable only if you collected the previous batch), plus limited iron deposits.
- Fast-travel milestone costs 8 Faith.
Resource Locations at a Glance
- Clay — the potter’s chain; needed for the Twins’ 5 Clay Plates early
- Graphite — a 2.5K/month search; feeds ink and writing crafts
- Bees & the bee shop — the bee-keeper vendor sells hives and bee products that feed food and enhancer crafts
- Iron & stone — quarry runs; the first chain worth automating with zombies
- River sand — search interest jumped +60% pre-launch; riverbank gathering
- Hiccup grass — a swamp-zone alchemy ingredient (GK1 baseline); the GK2 spawn spot is being verified
- Sticks — basic fuel and crafting material from bushes near the starting zone
- Fish — see fishing for the rod-and-bait side
Landmarks & The Questions They Come With
- Stone cutter — “where is the stone cutter” is a 4.1K/month search; in GK1 the stone cutter is a workstation you unlock in the tech tree and build in your workyard — it turns stone blocks into cut stone. GK2 placement is being verified against the launch build
- Witch bridge — the GK1 swamp crossing; in GK2 the bridge-repair quest belongs to polished bronze and Agatha’s chain
- Refugee camp — GK1’s Game of Crone zone with its own ending set (see DLC); GK2’s version is being verified
- Teleport stone — GK1’s fast-travel item; the GK2 equivalent is being confirmed against the launch build
- Lighthouse / Sealight — where the Astrologer is met on Sloth day for the Keeper’s Key chain
